Mr. DeVito graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Political Science in 1974. He received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1978.
 


    Experience
 
Mr. DeVito has been a Partner with the firm since its inception in 1993. Prior to joining the firm of Sudekum, Cassidy & Shulruff, Chtd., Mr. DeVito founded the property group at a major Chicago law
firm where he handled first-party arson and fraudulent theft loss claims. He has defended large
product liability matters and primarily handles first-party insurance claims.		  

 
 Expertise
 
Mr. DeVito concentrates his practice in arson and fraud defense, insurance policy interpretation, negligence and products liability cases. One of his most noteworthy accomplishments involved obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a Fortune 500 company in a $32 million products liability
case in the Circuit Court of Cook County. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar
Association and is on the Board of Directors of M.M. & A. Consulting Enterprises,
Inc.
