Ms. Schumacher graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Journalism in 1983. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky Law School in 1989.
 


    Experience
 
Ms. Schumacher joined the firm in October of 1995 and currently works part-time. Prior to joining Sudekum, Cassidy & Shulruff, Chtd., Ms. Schumacher practiced in Georgia and litigated in many areas of federal and state law. Ms. Schumacher also previously served in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Atlanta, Georgia, as a staff attorney, focusing on Title VII, civil rights, habeas corpus, Social Security and sentencing guidelines appeals.

Ms. Schumacher concentrates her practice in insurance coverage and also
handles many of the firm's appellate matters.
