The
areas of substantive law in which Mr. Strawbridge has
practiced include fires and explosions, structural
collapses, product liability, premises liability,
warehousemens’ liability, construction, breach of
contract and warranty, as well as other areas. He has
also been retained by corporate and insurance clients to
provide consulting services in the areas of risk
management, contract drafting and review, product
warranty and literature review. |

Mr.
Strawbridge is a member of the American Bar Association’s
Litigation and Tort and Insurance Committees, and a member of
the National Fire Protection Association. Mr. Strawbridge is
the co-author of the Fire and Explosions chapter in the Illinois
Continuing Legal Education handbook on Premises Liability, the
author of a widely-circulated monograph on the potential risks
of retaining unlicensed fire, engineering and other experts, and
he has given various presentations to insurance company
personnel and organizations, most recently at the 2006 Annual
Convention of the National Association of Subrogation
Professionals, where his topic was damages in subrogation cases
(“It’s All About Money”). He also drafted a Model Licensing Act
for Independent Insurance Adjusters. |
